Crumble the ground beef into the skillet along with the onion and bell pepper. I like the flavor of sloppy joe's, but I hate how messy they are. I always end up eating them as an open faced sandwich. I decided to solve this problem by putting the sloppy joe mixture in a biscuit cup for dinner last week. They tasted great and were much easier to eat.
